To
run Java applications on your OS you will need a so called JVM - Java
Virtual Machine.
The one which I recommend you to use for maximum compatibility is
Sun Microsystems' JVM called JRE (Java Runtime Environment).

I'm
still doing research on how to get my Java programs to run under MacOS
versions prior to MacOS X. If you have MacOS X you should have no
problem to run my Java stuff since it's built on Unix technology and
a JVM is included.
If
you get my programs to run on another OS than Windows you are welcome
to mail me a screenshot of my program in
action as well as some info about which OS and JVM you are using.
That will help me to specify the system requirements for my Java products
a bit better in the future.
Please

freely, as for the ones you have to pay for you may distribute the trial
versions freely. You do NOT have to ask me for permission to put those
programs on your site, on a CD or whatever. It's all up to you...
